As the national Debate about Trans -Inclusion In the sports of girls and women, a boiling point has reached a boiling point in recent weeks, rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, DN.Y., has been unusually quiet about the issue. Now conservative influencer Riley Gaines has expanded an invitation to the conference women to join the other side of the issue.
“I absolutely believe That AOCOf course she has a platform, she is in a position of influence and power, and I believe she can influence the democratic members to cross the border and return to common sense. I really believe that there is a compulsory responsibility of each member of the congress: “Gaines told Fox News Digital in an exclusive interview.
Gaines believes that if Ocasio-Cortez suddenly took a position against trans-inclusion in girls’ and women’s sports, it would be “performance”, but that it would still benefit the political reputation of the conference woman.
“Although I disagree with many other things outside of this issue that AOC stands for, I would definitely cheer her or a democrat (before pronouncing trans -inclusion),” said Gaines.
“I do not believe that AOC is not in the fight for running for President in 2028, and if that is the case (trans -inclusion in women’s sports) is certainly something they would want to distance.”

Ocasio-Cortez last spoke about the issue directly when the House of Representatives voted on the protection of women and girls in the Sports Act on January 14. That day she gave a passionate, controversial speech on the house floor, where she claimed that the bill would empower children of children and those “transmeisjes are girls.”
The speech ignited immense declaration and spot, also by Democrats, one of whom said Fox News Digital that they and others were arranged in response to the party.
Since then, President Donald Trump has assumed an executive order that trans -inclusion of trans in women and girls prohibits nationally, and the NCAA has given its gender eligible to pay. In the meantime, several Democratic states have trump openly, as a result of which federal investigations against those states and possibly cut cuts on financing in response.
On Monday, the protection of women and girls in the Sports Act is given a voice on the Senate floor.
Ocasio-Cortez has not weighed the issue, even though it is a remarkable advocate for trans-inclusion in the past. She has only referred to a recent exchange between Trump and Maine -Gouverneur Janet Mills about the issue with a bluesky post that says: “That’s how it is done.” However, she has not tackled the Order of Trump or the issue of Trans -Inclusion in detail.
During a virtual town hall that was organized by Ocasio-Cortez on 21 February, she did not deal with the problem, despite the fact that FOX News has submitted a question digitally. The Ocasio-Cortez office did not respond to multiple requests for comments on the problem of FOX News Digital via e-mail.
Ocasio-Cortez mentioned the general subject of democratic support for the trans-community during an interview on “The weekly show with Jon Stewart” Podcast Is January. 23.
“When we allow ourselves to be constantly distracted by these cultural wars around Transmensen, it is something new every day, and the answer is not that we just let those people be attacked, it is that we say,” What are you doing, man? ” I think we should rise for those people, just like a side issue that it is not even a debate, “said Ocasio-Cortez.
“Like, we have to understand and see the bait for what it is, but we don’t take the bait by just having those rights eroding and going along the road.”
But Gaines is not surprised by Ocasion Cortezs and other Democrats, sudden distance from the issue of trans-inclusion in girls sports.
“We should not surprise that this is the position that AOC takes,” said Gaines. “Number one, Cancel Culture loses its grip, and number two, it means that they try to distance themselves from their voting records or whatever, because they know that this is a losing issue. And it shows that they simply have no conviction. From the start this issue has been a farce.”
Riley Gaine repeatedly tears in AOC for taking pronouns from X Bio after pleading for transatletes
Ocasio-Cortez has previously voted for several accounts that would enable Transatletes to play nationally in the sport of women and girls, including the equality act and the transgender Bill of Rights. The Congress Winds suggested earlier that the Green Party was “predatory” in an X -post that responded to 2024 Green Party VP -nominated Butch Were who spoke against trans -inclusion in women’s sports.
Before that, OCASio-Cortez even criticized former President Joe Biden, who has made multiple efforts to make trans-inclusion possible, because they do not do enough to make this possible.
In April 2023, when Biden proposed a title IX change that prohibition of trans-athletes in girls’ sports, but prohibited by students “based on a series of sex-related criteria that are unique to their community,” Ocasio-Cortez called it a “shame”.
“Absolutely no reason for the Biden -Admin to do this. It is indefensible and embarrassing,” she wrote that month on X. “The manager can still decline this, and she should do that. It is a shame.”
However, the issue of trans -inclusion in the sport of women and girls has become a broadly opposite issue in the past year, and data suggests that it even influenced the outcome of the 2024 elections.
