“Kesha and I met on Instagram. She was following me. We DMed each other and she’s here with me tonight,” Richards, 55, said on the Tuesday, Jan. 7, episode of the Bravo reality show. “Yes Kesha is a musician and we are friends – so let the rumors begin!”
Cameras rolled as the cast headed to the Viper Room in West Hollywood to celebrate the costar Erica Jane honored by GLAAD.
Although Richards assured viewers that her plus one was just a friend, the reality star’s romantic life was put under the microscope as she navigated life after her split from her husband Mauricio Umansky in July 2023 They were married to 27 years before their separation.

A month after announcing the end of her marriage to 54-year-old Umansky, Richards cast the singer Morgan Wade“Fall in Love With Me” on music video. Her appearance led some fans to question whether they might be dating.
At the beginning of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 14 in November 2024 however, Richards said that she he would not speak on Wade, 30.
“I know there’s a lot of curiosity about the guy they always talk about,” Richards said. “I’m not using her name on purpose. I don’t want to speak for anyone but my own.
During a separate interview for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Aftershow, Richards provided a little more context about his friendship with Kesha, 37.
“She followed me on Instagram and I followed her and we were like, ‘Oh, we should get together for dinner,'” Richards recalled of Jane, 53. “We went to Venice or something and I sat down … and we started talking about everything and we share everything and share all our secrets.
According to Richards, she “automatically connected” with the Tik Tok singer and a new friendship was born.
“I just automatically connected with her and she’s so sweet and has such a big heart,” she said. “Kind, non-judgmental, talented and creative. We started dating and quickly became very close friends.’
Kyle Richards and Morgan Wade’s friendship began through music. To prove that Beverly Hills really is a small town, Kesha and Wade ended up making a song together called “Walked on War.” And yes, Kesha will be performing at the same London music festival as Jane this June.
“I’ll be there with bells,” Richards joked. “I’m so excited about it. I’m ready to go.
