Exclusive: A disruption of the cost-saving efforts of the Trump government became physical after demonstrators crashed an event in a Red New York district, which caused a Republican legislator to express concerns about democratic efforts to “organize protests” Gop -Districts.
Protesters disrupted a private lunch organized by the Rockland Business Association on Thursday, aimed at one of the speakers, Rep. Mike Lawler, RN.Y., about Republican efforts to lower federal expenses.
A video obtained by Fox News Digital shows the protesters, who had bought tickets for the event, scream “Lawless Lawler” while held a sign up with the text “Elon’s Puppet” in a clear reference to cost -saving efforts by the costs Department of Efficiency of the Government (Doge). The disturbance soon became physical when the protesters struggled with those present at the event, who tried to put an end to the disruption.
Lawler’s team, which responded to the protest, pointed to comments from Senator Chuck Schumer, DN.Y., where he said that Democrats sent people to Republican districts to oppose their policy and to “let them undergo the consequences”.

“We mobilize in New York. We have people who go to the Republican districts and behind these Republicans who vote for this and force them to change their voice or experience the consequences,” said Schumer during a recent interview with PBS. “This is a long, ruthless fight that we are fighting every day. And I am convinced that we will bring Trump’s popularity, figures and strength down if we stay with it, and stay with it, and stay with it.”
Ciro Riccardi, communication director for Lawler, told Fox News Digital: “It is outrageous that Senate majority leader Chuck Schumer encourages extremely-left activists to harass and intimidate Republican members of the congress.”

The protest is one of the many disruptions at congress events this week.
