Preview Rennes vs PSG Match
Rennes Manager Habib Beye had sympathy for Paris St-Germain after Luis Enrique’s team dominating almost all over the whole lost 1-0 at home in Liverpool In the round of the 16 first foot Champions League on Wednesday.
“Football is sometimes tough because the PSG performance is over,” said Beye, who has won four of his five matches since he took responsibility on January 30 and now beats his side against the visit Word 1 Leaders on Saturday.
“We will be in trouble and we are also working to put them in difficulty. We are not going to play the victim. We know what a PSG team is and, from there, we either occupy or (compete) with our heads held high and ambitions, the desire to get up.
“We worked for the use of the ball knowing that we would have less of them, about the aspect of dealing with (dealing with) one in-one. It’s not a bonus race, it’s not (case) ‘we have nothing to lose.’

“There will be 95 minutes of a challenge that will be imposed on us – a great, extremely exciting challenge. It is a fight in our journey we need to win. We must give ourselves the means to do so, with personality, the players who believe in themselves.”
With a return game to Liverpool on Tuesday (8pm GMT), Luis Enrique has inevitable questions about how focused PSG it can be.
“Rennes is always a difficult stage,” he said. “I have no doubt that it is a good motivation for them to beat us. There is no easy match when wearing the PSG jersey.”
While the PSG is unbeaten in the league and 13 points clear at the summit, the 11th placed Rennes are 10 points from the top six and nine above the relegation zone with 10 matches remaining.
