Real Madrid resumed their faltering Champions League season as superstars Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham all scored in a thrilling 3-2 win at Italian league leaders Atalanta.
Madrid had to ride their luck as Matteo Retegui fired wide in stoppage time when he gifted a golden chance to level the game.
Just their third win in the revamped league stage of the competition leaves the 15-time champions in the play-off places unbeaten in 18th place.
Paris Saint-Germain also got a much-needed win, beating Salzburg 3-0 and sit in the bottom of the play-offs in 24th place.
Bayer Leverkusen are in second place after a 1-0 win over Inter, while Bayern Munich beat Shakhtar 5-1.

Mbappe has been inconsistent since his big summer move to Real but his aim has been vintage stuff, turning his man and flashing a shot in one move.
He also showed his trademark pace to run clear and have a strong shot to win, but then went down with an injury and limped off before the break.
Vinicius was alert to pounce on a loose ball and turn after Atalanta equalized from the spot and Bellingham also scored a fine goal. feed over the top to get to a big pass, before cutting the inside and steering.
