Raven-Simone recalled having her first breast reduction at age 15.

“I had my first breast reduction at 15,” she revealed on the Thursday, Dec. 5, episode of her “Tea Time with Raven and Miranda” podcast she co-hosts with her husband Miranda Pearman-Maday. “I went from a triple D all the way to a B.” The now 38-year-old added: “Somebody said I had to do it to get a show.”

“I felt like guys were watching the show because I had big boobs,” Raven-Symone said That’s right Raven on her podcast. “I feel that was the case. They came for the titties and stayed for the comedy.

She added: “Now there’s this beautiful body hug that I didn’t get as a young girl.”

Raven-Symoné and guest Michel Bhutto went on to discuss their shared history of breast reduction surgeries, including her “anchor scar.” Raven-Symoné explained: “When you have a breast reduction, below the areola they make a small incision and they go right under the breast and they kind of fillet you from underneath and it looks like an anchor.”

Raven-Symoné first spoke about her surgeries in an episode of her and wife Pearman-Madaypodcast in August 2023, where she revealed that she “has two breast reductions and lipo before I turn 18.”

At the time, she noted that she had “documents included” to get the procedures because she was still a minor. “My dad strongly suggested I get a breast reduction,” she revealed. “And he said, ‘Just so you don’t feel bad, is there anything you want?’ I thought, ‘Yeah, if I get liposuction, will people stop calling me fat?'” So, I have a couple.

Her first surgery was complicated, as the actress suffered a seizure when she woke up from the anesthesia. She also recalled the challenge of going through such a painful recovery at a young age. “I have scars. I still have scar tissue to this day,” she shared. “And then I gained weight and I had to, like, go back for a quick little, like, (yes) a little bit more because (my breasts) were still too big for other people’s feelings.”
