Lewis, 30 went to Instagram on Friday, December 13 to share a screenshot of a TMZ headline who called Kennedy’s December 10 arrest a “misunderstanding.” The outlet reported Friday that Kennedy, 32, and Luber, 28, have been “sticking together” since the incident.
“The number of times I convinced myself that the abuse I suffered from James Kennedy Georgiou was a ‘misunderstanding’ is sickening,” Levis captioned her post on the web, directing her nearly 600,000 followers to listen to the April 23 episode of her “Rachel Going Rogue” podcast.
In this episode, Lewis talks with psychiatrist Dr. Gail Saltz about bad relationships and how to stop repeating mistakes.
“If you’re listening… this is the pdf my therapist sent me that I referenced,” she wrote on Friday on her Instagram stories, where she shared three pages detailing different types of abuse, including physical, sexual, verbal and emotional/ psychological.
Lewis dated Kennedy for five years. The Vanderpump Rules The costars split in December 2021, ending their seven-month engagement.

Rachel Lewis/Instagram“We are aware of the recent arrest of James Kennedy for domestic violence. This news, unfortunately, is not surprising,” Levi’s lawyers, Mark Geragos and Brian Friedmansaid Us Weekly in a statement on Thursday, December 12. “Rachel’s (revenge porn) lawsuit describes in considerable detail Mr. Kennedy’s long history of erratic, violent behavior and substance abuse.”
In March, Levis filed a lawsuit Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval for revenge porn, wiretapping, invasion of privacy, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. (Levis had an affair with Sandoval, 42, which led Maddix to end their nine-year relationship. Maddix, 39, was later dropped from the complaint.)
us confirmed this on Thursday Kennedy is arrested for criminal domestic violence after an alleged altercation with an unknown woman earlier this week. He was released on $20,000 bail.
On Friday, a source exclusively speaking us that Kennedy’s arrest was based on a “complete misunderstanding.”
“They were arguing and a neighbor was outside and heard them fighting and called the police and the officers came,” said a source close to the situation usciting Kennedy and Luber. The insider also claims that Lewber does not plan to press charges.
Kennedy and Luber have been together since 2022. A few hours before Kennedy’s arrest, the couple went out on Kathy HiltonChristmas party in Los Angeles.
An eyewitness told exclusively us that Kennedy seemed “in great spirits” during one part of the party.
“(James) and Ali were cuddling together and taking pictures,” the source said us. “She seemed to be in a good space and was dancing, singing and having fun.”
However, a second insider claimed that Kennedy was “running” through the party, “causing a scene.”
“His friend chased him from Kathy’s basement all the way through Kathy’s backyard and James looked crazy as he ran,” the second source claims us. “The man chasing him almost fell into the pool and dropped the lantern into the pool causing a huge scene. Everyone was wondering what was going on.”
Nick Viallin turn, seems to confirm account, claiming on his podcast of the same name that he witnessed Kennedy “barking orders” at a friend during the party. (Kennedy has not responded to the allegations. us reached out for comment.)
“I was like (shocked) and his friend just grabbed the drink and James kept walking. I was like, ‘That was crazy,'” Viall, 44, said. “Ten minutes earlier I met this guy who he introduced as his best friend, and then 10 minutes later he’s barking orders,” Viall said on Thursday’s episode.
Lewber has not spoken publicly about the incident. us reached out for comment.
