Private Lunar Lander Blue Ghost lands on the moon with equipment for NASA


A private lunar lander with an exercise, vacuum and other equipment Delivering for NASA Touched on the moon on Sunday, the last of different companies that want to start the business world on the natural satellite of the earth for astronaut missions.

The Blue Ghost Lander from Firefly Aerospace descended from the lunar court on the autopilot, aimed at the slopes of an old volcanic dome in an impact basin on the northeastern edge of the moon.

“You all stuck the landing. We are on the moon,” said Firefly’s Will Coogan, chief engineer for the lander.

Blue Ghost, which is named after a rare American species of firefly, is a four-legged land that is 6-foot-6 long and 11 feet wide and offers extra stability, according to the company.

About half an hour after landing, Blue Ghost started to send back photos of the surface. The first image was a selfie somewhat obscured by the sparkle of the sun.
