The police discovered that a man reportedly killed his brother in Princeton, New Jersey, after he has called 911 to report a fire and a dead body in the luxury apartment complex where the victim’s body was found, said officers of justice.
Matthew Regges, 31, is accused of murder in the first degree In connection with the death of his 26-year-old brother, Joseph Hertgen. He is also accused of accusations of third and fourth degrees with regard to the possession of a golf club and knife, as well as animal abuse related to the death of a family cat.
A police source that spoke anonymously The New York Post Said Hertgen set fire to the cat.
“It is incredibly tragic. Matthew Hertgen came from what seemed to be a perfect, all-American family. No one could have predicted that something like that would happen. It is shocking in such a violence and the loss of his brother Joseph is devastating,” the police source said the post.

Authorities must not yet describe any form of motive with regard to the charges of Hertgen.

The police found Matthew Hertgen on the spot and found that he was the 911 -Beller. Authorities also found the victim’s body, which “showed signs of blunt strength trauma and cracks,” said the Mercer County Procurutor’s office in a press release.
Joseph Hertgen was declared dead on the spot and his autopsy results are being treated. Local and government officials investigate the death of the 26-year-old as a murder.

Both brothers played university football – Matthew at Wesleyan University in Connecticut and Joseph at the University of Michigan.
