The Prince of Wales, 42, was pictured sitting at a table at the Birmingham branch of Wetherspoons, a British pub chain, with Aston Villa football fans before heading to their team’s match against Everton on Wednesday, January 15.
William’s visit came after a recent visit to the College of Paramedics conference. On the same day, he was declared the patron of the organization.
William’s visit to the pub was pre-arranged by the football club after William asked to contact some of his biggest supporters, a Kensington Palace spokesman said. Us Weekly.
The spokesman also confirmed that the prince paid for a glass of drinks for the football fans in attendance.
The royal was waiting for her train home when she stopped at the pub – which is located at Birmingham New Street train station – according to The sunis royal editor, Matt Wilkinson.

Daniel Jonessaid an 18-year-old student who was in the pub BBC News that William was a “beautiful man, very down to earth” who loved the football team “and the passion we all share”.
“I think if he didn’t have other commitments he would have been happy to attend the game,” Jones said.
Meanwhile, John McAvoyThe 64-year-old business owner described William as a “really nice, genuine” guy.
“He said he was going to watch the game on TV tonight,” McEvoy told the BBC.
William’s outing came a day after the Princess of Wales’s announced that he was in remission while visiting the hospital where she was being treated for cancer on Tuesday, January 14.
“I wanted to take this opportunity to thank The Royal Marsden for looking after me so well over the past year,” Kate wrote in an Instagram post.
“My heartfelt thanks to all those who quietly walked alongside William and me as we managed everything,” added the princess. “We couldn’t have asked for more. The care and advice we received throughout my time as a patient was outstanding.’
“It’s a relief to be in remission now,” she later shared in the post. “And I remain focused on recovery. As anyone who has had a cancer diagnosis knows, it takes time to adjust to the new normal.”
