COMMENTARY: Some might suggest that 2024 wasn’t the best year for the British Royal FamilyBut as we look back at what went right and what went wrong, what can we look forward to in 2025?

Prince William and Kate Middleton

As we all know, Princess Catherine had the most devastating year when it was announced that she was suffering from cancer, but good things came out of the bad and according to a very well placed source, Catherine has rediscovered herself as an individual and More importantly, looks now looking forward to returning to full-time royal duties with renewed vigor. However, this is not without initial problems.

This is simply because she has rediscovered the joys of motherhood and spent time away from the media spotlight, something she has had to live with for the past twelve years, plus since her marriage to Prince William. However, he has mainly flown solo this year and admitted in an interview that it had been a tough year.

But a big turning point in William’s life didn’t happen until last month, and that was his meeting with the 47th President-elect, Donald J. Trump. The two attended the reopening of Notre Dame Cathedral, with William representing His Majesty the King, who had limited travel due to his own health problems.

But what really came through was that William not only handled the newly elected President Trump incredibly well, but also received high praise, which reverberated around the world. According to my sources, both William and Catherine, along with the King and Queen, have all been invited to Trump’s inauguration on January 20 in Washington, DC.

Catherine has since reactivated all the charity works she started in 2023, but which largely came to a standstill with her cancer diagnosis.

What is really going on behind the scenes is simply this: both William and Catherine are being accelerated to take on more royal duties, and this is the simple fact of age. As we all know, His Majesty the King and Queen are now in their seventies.

Unlike the previous Prince of Wales, William does not have the luxury of time, and Catherine also knows that once the inevitable happens, her life will change beyond recognition, regardless of the age of her children, and can only fall back on the very young years. Queen Elizabeth and how she had to dedicate her life to the crown.

Prince George

Expect a more developing role from the young people Prince George in 2025. We saw a hint of independence during the Christmas walk as the 11-year-old broke away from his parents for the first time to meet the public on his own. Once again, attention will have to be paid to the fact that he is now also quickly taken behind the scenes into royal protocol and life.

After witnessing his grandfather’s coronation in May 2023, George is more aware than ever of what the future holds, and according to a source, he knows exactly what the public, the Commonwealth and the world will expect from him. But as you can see, he is already a fine, capable, sincere young man.

Princess Charlotte

Princess Charlotte is also becoming increasingly independent and, according to our source, has been a source of support for her mother, Princess Catherine, during the very difficult periods and dark moments of illness. My sources told me that Catherine is well aware that if Charlotte had not been born into a royal family, she would simply have enjoyed a life in the dancing arena. Ballet is a hobby that really requires time, attention and dedication in the life of the young princess.

Prince Louis

Prince Louis remains as always: delightful, captivating and some might suggest a wonderful distraction from all the negativity attached to the British monarchy.

Prince Andreas

Prince Andreas continues to dominate the news, but for the wrong reasons. However, unlike certain royal family members, he has resisted the temptation to try to correct himself by writing a book. According to a well-placed source, Andrew would at some point like to see a quiet return to royal life, with the focus mainly on charity works and also largely out of the media spotlight.

Of course, all that remains is the thorny subject of whether he can continue to live at Royal Lodge, something he is fighting hard to keep. According to a source, he sees it as a last bastion of independence, a stronghold promised to him by his late mother, Queen Elizabeth. However, others might suggest that this is a pipe dream and that he can never return to the royal fold, no matter what he wants to do.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

As for the ex-Royals, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, the biggest problem is just money!

This is because Prince Harry and Meghan live an extravagant lifestyle with a dedicated 24/7 security team and, of course, a sprawling mansion where their Netflix deal is hanging by a thread after the colossal disaster of Prince Harry’s polo show. Everything now depends on whether Meghan Markle can find success in her upcoming cooking show for the streaming company.

To brighten our new year, Meghan decided to post on her brand new Instagram account, which has actually been running in secret for two years, but now she admits it. Well, her new cooking show for Netflix has finally arrived. Apparently she wants to put her arms around everyone so we can enjoy food, gardening and friendship. You don’t see good friends like Gayle King, Oprah or, indeed, Ellen DeGeneres, but they are so 2024.

The bottom line is that if this doesn’t work out and perform as well as Prince Harry’s polo show, despite writing 2025 in the sand in her other Instagram post, she may wish for the waves to wash over another obvious debacle.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in Africa

The Sussexes had hoped after their quasi-royal trips to Nigeria and Colombia that many other countries would have been willing to book them. But given the enormous costs associated with flights, security and everything that comes with hauling ex-members of the British monarchy in tow, it seems so far not many countries have taken up this strange and baffling offer .

I’m also told that Harry has closed the book on even more revealing tell-alls. Even though the original deal was for four books, it now appears that Harry has run out of steam and, more importantly, Penguin Random House, who despite all the publicity to date, has paid a hefty sign-on fee, has not fulfilled his initial contract has received back. edition.

Prince HarryHowever, he is still hopeful that his original dream of moving to Africa and living a quiet life is something he can convince his very media-demanding wife that she could benefit from as well. But many people are realizing that without the glare of the spotlight, Meghan finds it incredibly difficult to even breathe.

King Charles and Queen Camilla

The king, despite his cancer diagnosis, plans to take on more ventures in 2025. However, the issue actually concerns Queen Camilla. An insider told me that she tires easily and, as we’ve all seen, seemingly picks up any viruses or bugs going around with ease.

Perhaps at the age of 77 she may have been looking at a quieter life, but she has thrown herself into the life of a working royal family with great enthusiasm and had promised His Majesty the king that she would be there with him by his side. However, many people believe that the king should slow down, take better care of his health and perhaps take a break so that Catherine and William can undertake some of the more demanding overseas journeys.

But Charles is confident he won’t slow down and relishes the opportunity to take control and direction of his own personal rule. However, 2025 looks to be just as exciting and exciting as last year, and we are all genuinely very grateful for the work, fun, glamor and hard work that the British Royal Family brings to us.
