President Trump remains a call for ‘state-of-the-art’ Iron Dome Missiles System

President Donald Trump Said that the construction of an iron dome -like shield for the US is a top priority for him on Monday, calling for “immediate” work on the project before he signs an executive order.

Trump made the comments during a Republican dinner in Florida on Monday, while praising his recently confirmed Minister of Defense Pete Hegseeth. After he had landed Andrews on a joint basis that night, he confirmed that he had signed an executive order with regard to the iron dome on the plane.

“Pete Hegseeth, who will be great, by the way, I think he will be fantastic,” Trump said during the event. “I know him very well. I think he will be fantastic.”

“He is what we need to immediately start building an ultramodern iron dome rocket department shield, which will be able to protect Americans.”

The president added that Americans “protect other countries, but we don’t protect ourselves.” Trump also referred that President Ronald Reagan was interested in the system during the Cold War, but Americans “didn’t have the technology.”

“And now we have phenomenal technology. You can see that with Israel,” Trump continued. “So I think the United States is entitled to that. And everything will be made 100%here in the US.”

“We are going to make sure that we have the most deadly fighting power in the world.”

On Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that a future iron umbrella organization is one of the many priorities of Hegseeth.

“Other areas that the secretary will study include the repair of troops expressed because of COVID-19 vaccination mandates and the development of an anti-rocket system of iron dome for the United States,” was the explanation.

This was not the first mention of Trump of an iron dome for the US at the supreme commander inaugural ball on January 20. Trump said the project was on his radar.

“We also do the iron dome that are all made in America,” said Trump. “We are going to have a beautiful iron dome.”

The Republican leader also referred to the plan on the campaign track in 2024.
