Premier League: Leicester v West Ham

Match preview

Ruud van Nistelrooy begins his reign as Leicester manager by welcoming a boss under huge pressure as Julen Lopetegui’s West Ham visit the King Power Stadium.

Van Nistelrooy takes over shortly after Steve Cooper was sacked and Lopetegui could be the next manager after Saturday’s 5-2 home defeat by Arsenal.

Despite their disappointment since the Spaniard replaced David Moyes, the Hammers are actually yet to lose back-to-back games in the Premier League this season, although they have won just four of their 13 games in total.

The Foxes are just a point above the relegation zone after Saturday’s 4-1 defeat at Brentford, but Van Nistelrooy will be looking to extend a 20-game unbeaten run as manager that stretches back to Manchester United’s season and head of PSV Eindhoven.
