Match Preview for Chelsea by Leicester
Chelsea will try to follow the victory of Europe’s conference on Thursday with another victory over Leicester in the Premier League.
Enzo Maresca has already won his former club once this season, winning a 2-1 win in King Power Stadium in November.
But the foxes will now travel to Stamford Bridge, desperate for the points as they fight down to Ruud van Nistelrooy.
The Blues have only won three wins in 11 games in the Premier League, a bad run that saw their brief title to end before it really started.
Now, the western London club is facing a battle to hang in a place in the first top, and the team will get positive, knowing that their last three wins have all come home.
Leicester is just five safety points, but it could become the first Foxes team in 95 years to lose five games in a row with one or more goals.
The securing European football remains a priority for the homeland and with all teams prohibiting Manchester City in their respective competitions, it seems likely that fifth place will win the next Champions League term.
However, there are only six points that divide the third and 10th on the table, which means that blues cannot afford to slip here.

Group news for Chelsea V Leicester
Chelsea will be without Noni Madueke, Nicolas Jackson and Marc Guiu for the foreseen future, and all three are going to remain out of the international break.
However, there are good news for Blues, as Romeo Lavia has returned to education and is expected to be available next week.
One of the remarkable regular shifts in Chelsea’s recent component saw Reece James developed in an unknown role at the middle level, a move that proved to be successful as it opened the scoring in Copenhagen.
With Malo Gusto expected to regain the fitness, Maresca can continue to experiment with James in this position in the following games.
On the part of Leicester, the Right Return Woyo Coulibaly has successfully passed a gym test and will be available for selection.
However, Ricardo Pereira and Abdul Fatawu remain the only players who are not available due to injury.
Supporters asked to give more Stepy Mavidi game time and with six consecutive appearances coming off the bench, this race could eventually show him the opportunity to start.
