Tottenham’s boss of Ange Postecoglou has saluted his player’s movement and his determination after dug to beat Brentford 2-0 away from home.
It broke a series of four consecutive losses in the Premier League for the North London Club and their first win in 49 days.
But it wasn’t an easy day in the office, with the Spurs having their backs on the wall for most of the game.
They took the lead through a Brdford goal in the first half, before securing the three points with a few minutes to go thanks to a Pape Matar Sarr strike.
Speaking after the game, Postcoglou said: “It’s a difficult place to come and win.
“It is also a difficult place to win the way they attack and settle. You have to defend your box. You just have to do that.
“I thought the boys handled it very well and we knew it would be the key to us and the young men were brilliant and we felt we had the quality of football to hurt them in the other way. Credit to boys, they were brilliant.”

Postecoglou made sure to give support to Djed Spence – who was excellent and called the match player.
Playing out of position in the absence of destiny Udogie on the left back, the young Englishman was a revelation in Tottenham’s defense.
Postecoglou added: “Since he came to the team, he has been excellent.
“We missed him the last two games, but this is his beauty where we are at the moment. We take the players late back, improving us and helping us and I think it gives energy to the team. He was great today, (Bryan) Mbuemo is a handful of for any full back and handled him very well.
Archie Gray has been praised in a similar vein and reflects the words of his director.
With Micky Van de Ven resting in front of Carabao Cup’s big tie against Liverpool on Thursday and Cristian Romero was not yet back, Gray called again to action on the back.
The 18 -year -old said after the race: “Obviously, it’s a huge victory. From the back of another good win before. To break this running, it was difficult, we were in a difficult time. We still have a lot of games to prove that we can To convey this winning form, so it’s important.
