Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou is keener than ever to succeed in North London.
Spurs suffered their sixth defeat of the season at Bournemouth on Thursday night, leaving them on the brink of a second half.
And Postecoglou received some very immediate feedback from the traveling body as he went to thank them after the match.
The mood at the club remains low but the Australia boss says the fans are right to be upset and that only drives him to succeed.
Speaking at his latest press conference, he said: “For me the disappointment last night was a repetition of the cycle of going into games, starting well enough but then allowing the opposition to control it either by conceding a sloppy goal. – like we did last night – or not take our chances.
“We have to break this cycle, no matter where we are at the moment.
“We know we are very thin on the ground in terms of the number of teams. We know that there are not many opportunities to rotate and rest players. We paid the price with Benny (Davies) last night.
“I don’t need support. I’m not worried about support. I just want to complete what I set out to do.” 💪

“These are known things. What is also known is that we repeatedly shot ourselves in the foot in games like last night and we need to change that.
“We’ve done well against the teams at the top of the table, not just wins but played really well.
“Whether it’s City or United or Villa. But it doesn’t take away what happened last night. This still needs to be addressed. We’ll put it aside, it’s a big game on Sunday.”
Spurs host Chelsea on Sunday in a match that will see them drop to 13th in the table.
The Blues are in good form under Enzo Maresca, but Postecoglou remains confident his players can do it.
He added: “Chelsea are going really well, they’re in a good place at the moment with a pretty healthy squad and in good form.
“Always a difficult game against them, but we’re at home and we have to make sure we put in a performance like in the other games.
“I’m here, I’m going to fight to make sure we bring success to this football club. Nothing really changes. Where there is doubt, whether that’s internally or externally, it just strengthens my resolve to make sure we get it right.
