Pope Franciscus suffers 2 ‘acute respiratory failure’ episodes,


Pope Franciscus suffered on Monday “two episodes of acute respiratory failure,” the Vatican announced.

“In the afternoon, non-invasive mechanical ventilation was resumed,” it added in a statement. “The Holy Father is always vigilant, oriented and cooperating. The prognosis remains monitored.”
