Liverpool coach Arne Slot says there was a lot that his team could do better after the loss of Plymouth in the FA Cup.
A sentence in the second semester was the difference in the game, but the Reds fought to create chances at 0-0.
After a week of highs that made the Carabao Cup final again, Slot swallowed his humble pie without complaints.
Said: “I think they are able to do better. But it is a system and a style of play (from plymouth) which is very difficult to create chances against
“That’s what we saw today. I was not surprised because in the lead in this game, we saw many big balls, second balls, and if we had the ball, they were really aggressive. This was expected.
“It’s not always easy to create your chances when the team has not played between them so many times. We expected to play a better game than that, but we have to give credit to Plymouth.

“I think it hurts everyone. This includes Liverpool fans, me, the players. We were all we want to be in this contest as much as possible. If you go out in the first possible game, this is a sad way.
“Today, they continued to fight until the last second. Perhaps the only chances we created were the last five, 10, 15 minutes. It was no problem with the work pace, they worked very hard, but they could not find openings and could not find chances.
“We just have to keep doing the work rate the same. We have to be a little more creative in the next games.”
