Phoebe Robinson it becomes real why she started posting male celebrity compilations.
“I was just like, ‘I know I’m turned on by celebrities. I know I’m not the only one. So let’s build a community,” Robinson, 40, exclusively said Us Weekly on the red carpet at Comic Relief Live in New York City on Monday, December 9. “And it was super fun doing (hashtag) Thirsty Thursdays.”
The comedian’s posts, in which she used the hashtag #ThotNaysh, caught the attention of some famous actors. “From time to time someone answers – like Orlando Bloom commented once,” she said. “And I was like, ‘Oh my God, that’s like, so cool.’
According to Robinson, Bloom, 47, commented on her post, writing “a bunch of emojis that talk about lord of the rings,” followed by a heart emoticon that made her think, “It’s just like, ‘Oh my God, I love you.’”
The hashtag garnered numerous posts — and for Robinson, she never expected it to blow up the way it did.
“I was just being stupid. I was like, “Oh, this is a fun, silly thing you can do on social media. This feels like a low stake. I don’t have to worry about the numbers,” the What men want said the actress. “I’m just really having a good time.”

The latest features on Robinson’s #ThotNaysh post Jude Law and part of the caption read: “#ThotNaysh, not since Paul Newmanwas I like, “Damn, that white man I’d curl my hair in a civil rights bayang,” sang all five verses of “We Shall Overcome” and asked Thurgood Marshall to represent us as a pro boner – 😏 – so the love between me and today’s honoree can be recognized by all fifty United States.
One of The Clash of Cookbooks The cohost’s craziest posts include a former US president.
“When I did one on Barack ObamaI tagged him in it (and) people were like, “You’re crazy for tagging him in the post.” But I had to do it,” Robinson said. “He didn’t answer because he has more important things to do.”

Although Robinson has interviewed before Michelle Obamathat didn’t stop her from adding Barak to the tag button. “I thought, ‘You know what? If she beats me, I deserve it. Everything will be fine,” she joked.
Robinson is also looking to expand her social media presence following the popular reception of her #ThirstyThursday posts and hopes to turn the hashtag into a podcast.
“I really enjoy interviewing people. I’ve done it a lot, whether it’s podcasts or interviews with Michelle Obama on her book tour,” she told us. “So I want to go back to that (and) kind of highlight these fun, hot people in a really cool, interesting way.”
