It is a fairly long -waiting game since the PGA Tour and Liv Golf announced their intentionem to join forces.
That shock announcement came up June 6, 2023But according to almost all bills, there is no deal.
Rory Mcilroy recently seemed to imply that it is on those who die to close a deal, say that “two are needed for Tango.”

Reigning Masters champion Scottie Scheffler shared a similar sentiment earlier this week.
“I wish some of those boys had stayed, but in the end they made their choice. They knew the consequences of that decision and I am not here to change ideas. I have no bad will against one of those guys who left,” Scheffler said.
“They did what they wanted to do, and I can’t control their lives. I don’t sit here and say they should have done something else. They made their choice. If we want to find out why the golf game is not together again, go to those guys. Go to those guys. Go to where they play this week and find out when the game comes back.”

PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan Recently President Donald Trump called “the Facilitator” in the current discussions between the two parties.
Last month the Tour Trump credited for “(are) involved for the well -being of the game”, and it seems that there has been a movement since he was involved.
“Those conversations are real. They are considerable and they are driven at the highest levels of both organizations. Those conversations are considerably strengthened by the willingness of President Trump to serve as a facilitator,” Monahan said earlier this month. “President Trump is a lifelong Golffan. He strongly believes in the power and potential of the game, and he has been extremely generous in his time and influence to bring a deal together. He wants to see the game reunited. We want to see the game reunited, and his involvement has made the progress of reunification very realistic.”
Monahan added: “We believe that there is room to integrate important aspects of Liv Golf into the PGA Tour platform”, and he could imagine “a future” in which Governor Yasir al-Rahalyyan of the Public Investment Funde can join the tour of the Tour.
Trump expressed optimism last month, the two parties will get something Type Deal done.

“They have to come together,” he said. “They have had a lot of discussion back and forth. They both mean good, and eventually a deal will happen. I think it will happen pretty quickly. It would be nice to see the best golfers play against each other.”
