Pep Guardiola joked that his critics had to “notice” after Great Fabio Capello’s director said the “arrogance” of Manchester City’s boss had “cost many championships”.
European champion Capello praised Guardiola, but claimed that the Spaniard “came to tell me how to do my job” when he was a player under the Italians in the Roma and “always wanted to be the main character” for the most important matches of his term in Bayern Munich and the city.
“I hear what people say about me, so be careful,” Guardiola said when asked about the observations, showing his fingers to his eyes in Mime’s observation.
“I control you. This is not the first time Mr Fabio Capello has said. A big hug for Fabio – a big hug. ”

What did Capello say about Guardiola?
Speaking to the Spanish exit The worldCapello said he “really appreciated Guardiola as a coach” and believed the 54 -year -old with the achievement of “beautiful things”.
“I have experienced three revolutions in football, about one every 20 years: (Johan) Cruyff’s Ajax, (Arrigo) Sacchi’s Milan and Guardiola’s (Barcelona),” said Capello, whose titles included Serie A four times with Milan and once with Roma, 1993/94 Champions League with Roma, Rossoneri and The championship Twice with Real Madrid.
“One day, he came to tell me how to do my job and I replied,” Start running and then you can talk. “
“Do you know what I don’t like about Guardiola? His arrogance. The Champions League won with the city (in 2023) was the only one who tried nothing strange in the decisive matches.
“But in other years, in Manchester and Munich, on critical days, he always wanted to be the main character. It changes things and made inventions just to say,” The players don’t win, I win. “
“This arrogance costs many championship championships. I respect him, but I see it clearly.”
Capello said Guardiola’s tactic in Barcelona, with which he became a European champion in 2009 and 2011, had caused “huge damage to football”.
“Why;” The former director of England asked. “Because everyone has spent 10 years trying to copy him. This ruined Italian football, which lost his identity. I kept saying,” Stop now – you don’t have Guardiola players. “
Capello said that the concept of players who received a large number of brushes during the games was “a disaster” and “a hole that was afraid of many people away from football”.
“Just look at the main points,” he suggested. “Why watch 90 minutes passing and passing sideways without battles, without running?”

Fifth town Host Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday (3pm GMT), when only the win will move them over the fourth place Chelsea.
The seagulls in form will throw the city if they win the Etihad Stadium for the first time in their history, and Guardiola called Bournemouth, Aston Villa, Newcastle and “maybe Fulham” as candidates to guarantee a Champions League position by finishing in the first four.
“They deserve it,” he told the city’s opponents for qualifications. “They are really good and consistent. They have incredible weapons the way they play.
“It’s not frustrated here, it’s a challenge. If they qualify for the Champions League, it will be a huge success. There are times in life and sports you need to live (via).”
An additional point in the next season’s competition seems likely to be awarded to the team that ends on Thursday due to England’s points, which are based on the way teams from each country run in European competitions.
Pep 💬 I think Brighton is one of the best clubs working on and off the pitch. I think they start with Graham Potter, they are taking a step, then de Zerbi, and now with this extraordinary young manager who does incredibly good things. pic.twitter.com/zk3wdeqk83

Guardiola in Grealish England omission
Jack Grealish, who has not started a league game since December 21, stayed outside New England Thomas Tuchel on Friday.
Grealish was called by Tuchel’s predecessor Lee Carsley, but lost the previous Lions team in November through an injury.
“I can’t judge the reasons why,” Guardiola said of Tuchel’s decision, adding that Grealish was well trained. “I wish (Grealish) all the best and outside the court.”
