This is the beginning of a hilarity holiday season for Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany Mahomes!
“So much fun,” Brittany, 29, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, Dec. 14, sharing photos from the couple’s night at the Kansas City Chiefs Christmas party the night before.
Brittany that is pregnant with the couple’s third babyshe looked chic and festive in a red dress with a high collar. She completed her ensemble with a gold bag and leopard print shoes.
For glamour, Brittany wore her hair in a high ponytail secured at several different points, which later caused trouble for Patrick, 29.
“Does anyone else’s husband go to ruin their hair and think they can just rip them out of your hair?” she joked in an Instagram Story video shared on Sunday, posting footage of the discarded clear hair bands entwined with strands of her locks. “Because, yes, mine did last night.”
The Chiefs quarterback, for his part, wore a striped Prada shirt and matching khaki pants from the brand to the festivities. In the photos, he wrapped his arm around Brittany’s waist and smiled.
The bosses held their own annual holiday gathering in Kansas City on Friday, December 13. The next day, the team traveled to Cleveland, Ohio before a Sunday, December 15, football game against the Browns. The Missouri-based team will face the Houston Texans on December 21st and the Pittsburgh Steelers on December 25th, respectively.
Before the “short weeks”, Patrick talked about his training program.
“I think coach (Andy) Reid has a great plan, so I’m going to follow that and focus on that opponent,” Patrick said during a press conference earlier this week. “Then as we get into another short week and then the one after that, I’m going to focus on those opponents.”
Patrick also noted that he felt “excited play on christmas” later this month.
“But you never want to play so many games in so little time,” he added. “It’s just not great for your body, but at the end of the day, it’s your job. You have to come to work and do it.”
During Patrick’s NFL season, Brittany and the couple’s children stayed on the sidelines. (They share daughter Sterling, 3, and son Bronze, 20 months.)
“He doesn’t get nervous or stressed at all. That’s just what he likes to do,” Brittany previously said of game days during an August appearance on the “WHOOP” podcast.. “I think he likes going into a new week with new game plans, with new challenges, with new people to play with.”
