Patrick Bamford has been cautioned by Leeds United


Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford has struggled with regularity this season.

The striker missed a chunk of the season due to injuries and struggled to establish himself as a regular for the club following his return. Popular pundit Jon Newsome has revealed it now the player will be unhappy with the lack of playing time

Speaking live BBC Radio Leeds (Nov 30, 12:47pm), said: “It’s not as simple as saying ‘you play or you don’t play.’ That’s the problem managers have these days because you have 20-25 players to keep happy.

“Like Patrick Bamford, no matter what you say to him, he’s not going to be happy – he wants to play football. He is in the latter stages of his career and wants to play on a regular basis.

“He’s a good lad in the dressing room, but he’s also a bit of a thorn in the coach’s side. He has enough experience to ask questions.”

It will be interesting to see if Daniel Farke is willing to give him more chances in the coming weeks. they were rumors of a possible exit also.

Leeds will be chasing promotion to the Premier League and need more depth in the squad. They will need to use all their options to rotate players and keep them fresh.
