Pamela Anderson showed off her face with almost no makeup on the red carpet at the 2024 Gotham Awards.
Anderson, 57, arrived at the event in New York City on Monday, December 2, looking naturally glamorous in a sand-colored satin gown. Her hair was long and blonde with beachy waves. There seemed to be the tiniest touch of neutral lip gloss, eye shadow and maybe concealer – but nothing too dramatic.
She was nominated tonight for Outstanding Lead Actress for her high-profile role in The last show girlbut lost from Coleman Domingo for his work in Pei Pei.
Anderson recently embraced the decision to ditch the make-up that grabbed headlines since arriving bare-faced in Paris Fashion Week in 2023
“I’m at home without makeup, so why not for Paris Fashion Week?” she said people that November. Anderson added: “I didn’t expect anyone to notice, but I’m glad it sparked a positive message.”
The actress acknowledged the possibility of wearing more makeup in the future, but emphasized her desire to break free from conventional beauty standards.

She consistently opts for minimal glamor at events and red carpet appearances. And she inspired others to do the same.
last week Jamie Lee Curtis — who starred alongside Anderson in The last show girl — share a selfie without makeup via Instagram in tribute to the former Baywatch icon.
Curtis, 66, captioned the photo: “Selfie just out of the shower. I respect @pamelaanderson @lastshowgirl and her makeup free property. Sober. Strong. Steady.”
She added: “I just noticed that it looks like I have mascara on, which is obviously a leftover from my day at work yesterday. Apparently mom didn’t wash her face very well.
Curtis has long been an outspoken admirer of Anderson’s confidence, which she says inspired her to join the cast of The last show girldrama directed by Gia Coppola which was released earlier this year. At the Toronto International Film Festival in September Curtis Anderson praised him as “a transcendent creature so intelligent, deeply spiritual, soulful and beautiful.”
