In a major move after the recent performance of Trophy Champions, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the teams for New Zealand’s upcoming tour. The tour includes a series of five T20I matches and three -day international (ODI) matches, which will begin on March 16 and ended on April 5th.
New Captain T20i for Pakistan
PCB has named Salman ali agha As a new captain for the T20i series, marking a significant shift to leadership. Shadab Khan, an experienced All-Rounder, has been appointed as Vice President for the T20I series. This decision comes as part of a review aimed at revitalizing the team’s performance in the shortest form of the game.

The T20I team includes many new faces, reflecting the PCB strategy to give opportunities to young and domestic artists.

Odi Squad and Captaincy
Unlike the T20I setting, Mohammad Rizwan will continue to lead the team to ODI format. The ODI team is expected to undergo minor changes, with an emphasis on maintaining the balance between experience and youth.
