Vas shared the news via Instagram on September 9 and has been documenting her pregnancy ever since. Vas, 29, shared a video via the social media platform on Tuesday, December 3, which mimicked her water breaking, and also shared a “37-week birth prep exercise” via Instagram three days prior.
Richie, 27, appears regularly in Vas’ videos and was seen kissing her belly in Vas’ initial announcement post, which was captioned ‘Baby Richie. Our Christmas miracle.”
The couple, who are expecting a baby girl, met through mutual friends as teenagers in Australia before tying the knot in Mykonos, Greece in September 2023. Two of their parents later married, making Vass and Richie step-siblings. It’s unclear which of the couple’s parents married, but Vas has said in past TikTok videos that she and Richie share a mother.

Vas, who appeared in the Australian soap opera Neighbors from 2017 to 2018, and Richie’s relationship first grabbed headlines in 2021 when the two posted an online video titled “I fell in love with my boyfriend’s best friend…who happens to be my stepbrother.”
Vass told the Australian News Bulletin News.com.au in an interview published Friday, Nov. 29, that while she acknowledges public curiosity about her marriage, she doesn’t let it affect her. “Honestly, it doesn’t affect us because we have each other,” she told the outlet. “I don’t really read our comment section, but if I do, I really laugh. We find trolls a lot of fun.”
Vas continued: “If something is really negative, we might comment back, we find that’s a pretty good disarming tactic.”
Scarlett Johansson and other famous parents have welcomed “secret” babies over the years.
