‘Of course we’re angry’ – Kompany Furious after 10 -man Bayern Sefter Shock Bundesliga defeat in Bochum

Vincent Kompany could not hide his frustration, as Munich’s Bayern side threw a two-go goal as the Bundesliga competing bochum cam to win 3-2.

Bochum, today 16th on the table, relaxed Bayern’s 125 -year festive anniversary, such as Jakov Medic, Ibrahima Sissoko and Matus Bero completed a remarkable return after a Raphael Guerreiro Brace, put the leaders of the championship in front.

Bayern’s suffering deteriorated by Joao Palhinha’s dismissal for a reckless challenge for Giorgos Masouras just before halftime and Serge Gnabry missing from the penalty between Guerreiro’s goals.

Bayern’s regular recipient, Harry Kane, was one of the 10 changes to the side of the Leverkusen 3-0 in the Champions League in the middle week.

Despite the result, which only marks the second defeat of the Kompany Championship since becoming a director, Bayern has remained in an administrative position at the top of the table, eight points from second place Leverkusen.

The Belgian, however, did not appear in any disposition to cover the sugar, insisting that he was not looking for excuses.

“Congratulations to VFL (Bochum). It’s very unpleasant to us,” Kompany said.

“We started well, but we should never get a red card. But even with 10 men we have to win this game or at least not miss. That wasn’t happening today. We’re not looking for excuses or apologies, we lost.

“We will analyze it and we will have to take responsibility for it. It is important to focus on the reaction. Even with 10 men, we must have the ambition to win the game or at least not to lose.

“We didn’t do it. Bochum is worth feeling that they have won, I know how much energy it takes to do that. For us, it’s now for the next game.”

When asked about his feelings on Palhinha’s red card, Kompany was just as honest.

“It was a red card. It’s an unnecessary conversation,” he said.

“We have a red card, we lost. We don’t have to talk so much. We have lost and we have to react to the pitch now. Of course we are angry. The reaction to it is important now.”

Kompany et al. Travel to Leverkusen for the second leg of the Champions League 16 clash on Tuesday before returning to the domestic duties at Union Berlin on Saturday.
