New Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has named summer signing Nussair Mazraoui as his Manchester ‘team of the future’, which may come as a surprise to fans of the Premier League giants.
United are blessed with many young stars and if asked around who the future of their club should be built, fans will likely bring up names like Kobbie Mainoo, Rasmus Hojlund or Alejandro Garnacho.
These three youngsters have already shown some brilliant moments in a Man United shirt, so it would have come as a surprise when Amroim named Mazraoui as “the future” of his team.
“He is a top player because he understands the game, he is very good defensively, very good one-on-one,” said the Portuguese coach. Fabrizio Romano. I think he is the future of our team, we need more players like Nous.
Noussair Mazraoui has been very successful at Man United
Mazrawi joined Manchester United in the summer as part of a 20 million agreement euro with Bayern Munich, divided into 15 million euros ahead with a possible 5 million euros in extras.
THE The buck has been the only success so far of the Red Devils’ summer additions, as the Morocco international has thrived in his 20 appearances. The 27-year-old has won more ground duels (71) than any other defender in the Premier League this season, according to Statman Davewhich highlights the impact the fullback has made.
Amorim’s arrival will only help Mazraoui’s career at Man United as the Portuguese manager is a big believer in using full-backs in his squad and the 39-year-old will need to make a big decision about Luke Shaw’s future before next summer.
Unsurprisingly, the former Sporting CP boss is a fan of the Moroccan talent, with the seven describing him as “the future of our team”.
