Jones received a protective order earlier this month by a judge in Texas.
“Mrs Jones has chosen to use her voice to speak for herself,” said her lawyer, Angelica Cogliano, in a statement to the Associated Press. “In doing so, she looks forward to the facts and circumstances of that night that come to light due to the formal legal process and the righteousness she deserves.”
