Choosing the Rams marks the third team for Adams since the beginning of the 2022 season, and it comes after the New York Jets released him last week after he has not found a trading partner who is willing to take the rest of his five -year contract of $ 140 million.

Adams would be a jet for two more seasons, but it was always expected that he would be traded or released. The jets have also made that clear Aaron RodgersThe four-fold MVP quarterback with which Adams wanted to play in New York would be released under the new regime.

Jets separates from Davante Adams after less than one season: report

There were rumors that where Rodgers would go afterwards, Adams would follow. However, since his release, Adams has been able to talk to teams before the legal tampering period and the rams became an intriguing place.

New York took over Adams last season before the NFL trading deadline of the Las Vegas Raiders, the organization that previously exchanged for him from the Green Bay Packers.

The time of Adams in Las Vegas was tumultuous, because the team could not find a consistent Quarterback game since his arrival. It was rumor that he was in the trade block during the 2023 season, but he revealed that the change of the team at Quarterback was the key because he remained because of the second half.

But without improvement under Gardner Minshew and Aiden O’Connell in 2024, Adams was eventually traded on the team he preferred – the jets – who reunited him with Rodgers.

The two famous had a great connection in Green Bay, because Adams 8.121 Yards on 669 catches with 73 touchdowns in eight seasons with Rodgers at the helm. He made five straight Pro Bowls from 2017-21 with the packers, and he was perhaps one of the best recipients in the game with Rodgers who threw him the rock.

Now Adams has another Gunling veteran to throw him football, because the Rams made sure that Stafford was given what he wanted to return for the 2025 season after 10-6 and to collect a Wild Card Round victory against the Minnesota Vikings.

Stafford threw up for 3,762 Yards with 20 touchdowns to eight interceptions over 16 games, where Nacua, the second -year -old Pick that appeared as a broad receiver in Los Angeles, had 990 Yards on 79 receptions over 11 games. He had 1,486 Yards on 105 catches in his Rookie campaign.

Despite the Adams pedigree in the competition, he is the number two next to Nacua, but it should certainly feel more like a situation of one B because of his skills.

That said, the rams still have to find out if Cooper Kupp, the former top goal of Stafford, of which they have publicly said they would shop outside season this season. The role of Kupp has fallen since the Breakout Rookie season of Nacua, and he has left for two years to his three-year extension worth $ 80.1 million.

With the Raiders and Jets last season, Adams has 85 catches for 1,063 Yards with eight touchdowns.
