NFL Great Brett Favre praises Trump for taking action to protect women’s sports


Hall of Fame Quarterback Brett Favre President Donald Trump praised on Thursday after he had signed an executive order this week to effectively prohibit transgender athletes with girls and women’s sports.

Trump signed the “Keep men from the sports sports” Order on Wednesday, for which entities require federal financing to adapt to Title IX, which the Trump administration changed last week to recognize the protection based on organic sex – to rewrite the rewriting of the 2024 of former President Joe Biden.

“I appreciate President @realdonaldrump to sign an initiative to prevent biological boys from fighting women,” Favre said in a position on X of the executive order. “It is sad that this had to happen today, but glad it was ready.”

Favre also thanked Gaines, who hosts Outkick’s “Gaines for Girls” Podcast, for “being part of this initiative to help this ahead.”

Surrounded by female athletes, Trump stated during the signing ceremony that “the war against women’s sports is over.”

In response to the executive order, NCAA -President Charlie Baker said that the board of directors would revise it and take steps to coordinate the policy of the organization in the coming days.

“The NCAA is an organization that consists of 1,100 colleges and universities in all 50 states that together register more than 530,000 student athletes,” said the statement.

“We are convinced that clear, consistent and uniform suitability standards would best serve the student athletes of today instead of a patchwork of conflicting state laws and judicial decisions. The order of President Trump offers a clear, national standard.”

Trump has also drawn his attention to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Prior to the 2028 competitions in Los Angeles.

The pressure comes in the midst of an approaching leadership change at the IOC. The current President Thomas Bach will retire and the top candidate to replace him, Sebastian Coe, has publicly spoke about his position to protect women’s sport.
