Newly chosen Democratic National Committee Vice -chairman David Hogg Has previously called on American immigration and customs enforcement to be abolished and for discouraging the police.
“Defund the police, not USPS,” said Hogg, who entered the national spotlights for the first time after surviving the Parkland 2018, Florida, on school shooting, in an X -post on August 15, 2020.
“Fire ice,” Hogg said two weeks earlier in another post.

The posts, which were made more than two years after Hogg survived the shooting in Florida, came when he became increasingly involved in political activism, in particular through his loyal advocacy for stricter weapons laws.
Now only 24 years old, HOGG went to social media early Sunday to celebrate his election as leadership within the DNC.

Democrats consider Rebrand after Trump Win, want to avoid ‘Freak Show’ party label: report
“I have just been chosen as vice chairman of the DNC. I am deeply grateful to the members for their trust and belief in me and I don’t take it lightly. Now it’s time to go to work,” Hogg said in a post On X it promises a “democratic party that is authentic, relatable, deserves the trust of people and wins again.”
“It is time for us to stop surrendering, going offensive and taking on the fight to Donald Trump and every Republican who challenges our rights, attacks employees and aim the system for the rich and well -connected,” Hogg said.
But the increase from HOGG to vice-chairman of the DNC also comes in a time of deep soul seeker for the Democratic Party, with many analysts who blame the Poor 2024 of the party about her apparently soft views on crime and illegal immigration.

Nevertheless, HOGG called on the party to “reconsider the way we did things” in his position on X, with the argument that it is vital “to lose our party of his condemnations this year, from the working class to young people. “
The DNC did not immediately respond to a Fox News Digital request for comments.
