The impasse between six times pro bowler Myles Garrett And the Cleveland Browns reached new heights this week when reports appeared about a meeting that ultimately did not happen.
Last month, the Star Pass Rusher recently informed the browns about his wish to be traded on another team. Garrett then asked to meet Browns owner Jimmy Haslam.

But according to the NFL network, Haslam rejected the request to meet Garrett. Haslam then pointed Garrett in the direction of Browns General Manager Andrew Barry, per Cleveland.com.

In a statement announcing his trade request, Garrett said he preferred to land with a competition next season. “The goal was never to go from Cleveland to Canton, it has always been to fight and win a super bowl,” he said.
Garrett doubled on those feelings and concluded that they were not “aligned” with the direction of the franchise.

“I have a lot of love for Cleveland, but it has always been for me about (competitive) for championships, winning those big games and winning Lombardis,” Garrett NFL NFLWORK told in February. “We didn’t have that to do that. That’s all I ask for.”
“It is not a decision that I make lightly,” said Garrett. “It took time and many conversations, but just looking at the team’s process, talking with some of the higher ups … I have a lot of respect for them, but I just don’t think we are tailored to where the team will go in the near future.”

The browns ended last season with a 3-14 record and confronted with uncertainty on the Quarterback position as Desshaun watson Rehabs after recently his Achilles tendon to tear for the second time. Watson initially tore his straight Achilles in October.

The buyer of the browns has stated that they would not trade the NFL NFL Defensive Player of the Year. Head coach Kevin Stefanski said earlier that Garrett is part of the present. He is part of the future ‘.
Garrett has left for two more years to his contract with the team.
