Multiple dead and injured when shooting New Mexico, the police say


A shoot Las Cruces, New MexicoDid three dead and 14 injured, according to the Las Cruces Police Facebook page. Authorities say that two of the deceased were 19 years old and one was 16 years old, while the ages of those wounded vary from 16 to 36.

A KTSM crew, a local NBC branch, reportedly spoke to a family who believed that one of their family members was possibly killed in the shootingAlthough that has not been confirmed.

The shooting took place at around 10 p.m. on Friday in a park in the city. The police have not made any arrestsBut say that they ‘actively follow multiple leads’.

New Mexico teenagers, 13 and 15, accused of murder in the hit-and-run by cyclist placed on social media

The police have closed roads Close to Young Park while they investigate the incident. They receive help from the New Mexico State Police, the Sheriff’s Office of Dona Ana County, the FBI and agents from the Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearies and Explosives Office.

Las Cruces City Councilor and Mayor Pro Tem Johana Bencomo wrote about the shooting On her Instagram.

“As with all the acts of arms violence in our city and then, my heart has broken for the victims and the families. This was a horrible act of violence that will leave our city of mourning,” Bencomo wrote. “In the coming days will be heavy and chaotic, but we must concentrate on supporting those who are directly affected and their families.”

Bencomo also insisted on the public from spreading wrong information and rumors, and advised them to “be aware of what you share or repeat.”
