But a fan in the stands on Monday evening did not agree with that and Soto constantly denounced him by calling him “paid too much” and “overestimated”, and it was caught on the camera.
Soto turned around and gave the fan a look. Maybe it was a look of annoyance, but maybe Soto warned the fan of his upcoming revenge.
The fan received an immediate taste of his own medicine when Soto launched a solo -home run, directly with the fan, and he didn’t even get away with the ball.
Soto pointed to the fan after the ball had cleared the fence, and it gave the Mets a 4-0 lead in a final 8-0 win over St. Louis Cardinals.
