A retired FBI Special Agent shared his analysis and critical steps that researchers could follow in search of one Missing American student They disappeared from a beach in the Dominican Republic.
“The FBI cannot take over this study, but will use diplomatic channels to force the Dominican authorities to give priority to important research steps, to offer forensic help and to coordinate information exchange that can discover new leads,” Jason Pack told Fox News Digital.

Pack added that there are “critical research steps” that must now be done and the important role that the FBIs Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) and forensic experts have to take.
“The BAU can help to profile possible suspects, while the FBI teams of the FBI can help with DNA analysis, digital forensic research and geolocation -tracking; sources that local authorities may not have at their disposal,” Pack explained.
With regard to supporting the Konanki family, Pack says, Pack says that the FBIs Victim Services Division is probably already busy with the family and their research updates, offers guidance on dealing with foreign law enforcement and support while they navigate through this crisis.

The police said Konanki, who is a resident of Loudon County, Virginiatraveled with five other people from the University of Pittsburgh to the Riu República Hotel in Punta Cana during the spring break of the school, which started on March 2 and ended on Sunday.
She was last seen on a surveillance camera with five other people who enter the beach in the five -star resort after 4.15 am, the Dominican National Police said earlier in a statement.
Images obtained by Noticias Sin showed Konanki who clung to a man while the group went to the beach.
It was the last time the authorities followed Konanki before the resident of Virginia disappeared.
Former FBI Special Agent and FOX News -contributor Nicole Parker shared her analysis on the search for Konanki and said that what she thinks is the most important because a researcher is to determine who she was last seen with.
Parker said that, since researchers have the phone and wallet of Konanki, they will endure all that information and sort out everything they can about the man with whom she was last seen.

Authorities have not mentioned suspects in the current investigation. On Tuesday, the Dominican National Police said that “re -examination is targeted persons who were in the vicinity of the victim at the time of her disappearance.”
A joint investigation into Konanki’s disappearance is carried out by the American embassy in the Dominican Republic, the Dominican National Police and the Dominican public prosecutor. The FBI Helps too.
