Last year she referred to a mood from the city council to not fly the Pride flag over the town hall during the Pride Month, which was later reversed after public outrage. At the time, Clark told the local exhaust comed that if the Pride flag were flown, the flag of everyone had to be flown.
“Do you want a Hamas flag flying over the city of Newcastle? Or a Maga flag? What about a Trump flag or an Antifa flag? We’re not going there,” Clark said. “Everyone is equally represented by the American flag.”
Said jen while she “is in support” of veterans, prisoners of war and mias, She thinks flying with the POW/MIA flag “is a political stunt 100 days a year.”
Jen then began to compare the population of American prisoners of war or MIAS with how many Americans fall under the LGBTQ community, which suggests that the Pride flag represents more people.
“My research shows that there have been 82,000 Americans who have been registered as prisoners of war or mias, which is horrible and terrible, and it should never happen with an American, but there are (20 million minimal LGBTQ members,” she said.

She then accused the members of the Council of Hypocritical and satisfying special interests by choosing to fly a POW/MIA flag over the town hall and not a pride flag.
“I think your approach to mislead people by having to fly the Pride flag in June by ensuring that the POW/MIA flag has flown is really disgusting. Again, it is in no way impartial, and I think you should be ashamed.
Her comments put a fire under the mayor, who said he usually does not respond to public comments, but he “will not be here and let someone tell that veterans are a political stunt.”
Some in the audience could be heard when Clark shot back on the woman and added: “How do you dare?”
