March Madness: UNC blows SDSU out to silence NCAA Tournament critics


Since the NCAA Tournament bracket was announced, the North Carolina Tar Heels have caught tons of return, as many believed they should have been omitted from the 68 teams that ‘the dance’ made.

Maybe those haters have now been silent.

UNC was the last team to get a place in the tournamentAnd they still had to play for their seed in Dayton, Ohio against one of the most important defenses in college basketball. As a team, the Tar Heels shot an amazing 52.6% out of the field and 58.3% of three (14-24), while he cashed in with 21-of-24 in the free throw line.

It was Davis shooting as top scorer of the game with 26 points on 8 or 12 shooting, including a perfect 6-out-6 from three-point country. He also had two assists.

Jae’lyn Withers also noted a double-double for UNC, a total of 10 rebounds and 10 points, while Seth Trimble bore 16 points from the bank at 5-of-10 shooting. Ven-All Lubin also had 12 most, eight of which came from the free throw line.
