No. 2-ranking Alabama Hacked to defeat No. 15-ranking Robert Morris 90-81 in the first round of the men’s NCAA tournament on Friday in Rocket Arena in Cleveland.
At one point Alabama was in the first half of 12 points, but Robert Morris Fought back to reduce Alabama’s lead to 40-36 during the break.
Robert Morris continued to fight in the second half and at one point took over a 65-64 lead over Alabama with 7:10 to play, so that Crimson Tide was upset.

Then Alabama went on a run of 26-16 to close the game and secure the victory.
Mark Sears and Clifford Omoruyi led the way for the Crimson Tide in the victory. Sears had a Double-Double with 22 points and 10 assists, while Omoruyi added 17 points to perfect 8-out-8 shooting.
Alabama made 58.6% of his shots.

Amarion Dickerson was one of the four players who scored in double digits for Robert Morris in the loss.
Dickerson had 25 points while he grew nine rebounds, including six attacking planks. Alvaro Folgueiras also had a Double-Double with 15 points and 10 rebounds, while Josh Omojafo had 12 points in the loss.
Robert Morris shot 42.3% from the field and only 25.9% from 3-point range.

Alabama plays the winner of 10th placed Vanderbilt and no. 7 Seed St. Mary’s or California in the Tour of 32.
Robert Morris ended his season with a 26-9 record.
