Ruben Amorim feels that the quiet window of Manchester United can be attributed to fear of repeating the “mistakes” of the past.
United made only two plates, pushing the left-back Patrick Dorgu from Lecce for £ 25 million and brought to England under the 19th Ayden Heaven from Arsenal.
The club has endured a largely miserable season and sat 13th at the Premier League table after last weekend’s defeat at Crystal Palace. They were expected to do more businesses, especially in promotion areas, but Amorim says United adopts a closer approach.
He said: “What I feel is that the club takes its time.
“We know the urgency of the team’s moment. Everyone here does not want to make the same mistakes of the past. In the summer we will see, but as I said we are very careful with transport because we made some mistakes in the past.”

Marcus Rashford and Antony have abandoned Old Trafford, but Amorim is sure to have his weapons attack to end the season strongly, despite the fact that he has to use Midfielder Kobbie Mainoo in a false nine -place against the palace.
“We have to find players playing in different positions. You can see how we play it will take time and not solve all problems,” Amorim said.
“Amad (Diallo) can score more. Bruno (Fernandes) can score more. Kobbie mainoo can score more by playing in this position on the pitch. We have to improve as a team. We have some time.”
Amorim did not focus on Rashford
Amorim was inevitably asked about Rashford’s departure at Aston Villa after an epic that was able to pull England, he remained in Manchester.
“I’m just focused on these games,” Amorim said. “Mark is in Birmingham now with UNAI (EMERY). He just focuses on our players.”
United Face Leicester City in the fourth round of the fa cup tomorrow night with Ruud van Nistelrooy returning to the club that led to a temporary basis before Amorim was appointed as a permanent successor to Erik Ten Hag.
Martinez and Shaw are missing
They go to the tie without defenders Lisandro Martinez and Luke Shaw.
Martinez suffered ACL injury against the palace, while Shaw would not rush behind a succession of problems.
“Licha is a difficult situation,” Amorim said. “It will be out for a while.
“We do not know the extent of the injury, but it is an injury that will take time. Luke, a little, a small issue in a different area than the last injury, so we will try to be careful with Luke.”
