Another Ronaldo situation for Manchester United
Manchester United has been home to countless talents over the years, making a real impact on the team before making huge profits in the future.
To date, Cristiano Ronaldo remains the record departure from Old Trafford, joined the Spanish giants for £80m ahead of the 2009/10 season after making 277 appearances in his six years as a Red Devil.
However, he will rejoin the club in the summer of 2021, spending over a year back at the side where he made his name in the professional game following his previous spell in England.
The Portuguese international he will score 27 goals on his second spell, but it would be his boss fight Eric ten Haag and his off-field issues that would bring an end to his tenure at Old Trafford.
His situation is similar to that of Rashford, with disciplinary problems rearing their heads, with the Englishman joining his former team-mate in Saudi Arabia following Ronaldo’s move to the Middle East halfway through the 2022/23 campaign.

Only today’s Al Nasr star managed ten league appearances before his transfer away from England, with Rashford currently in a similar position, participates in 15 top division games but he was hopelessly out of form, scoring on just four occasions.
It’s a terrible shame to see a once-promising academy graduate’s time in Manchester fall apart, but ultimately he hasn’t helped himself with his antics off the pitch, which could lead to his eventual exit.
