The e -mail was sent from an e -mail address and stated: “I need a video from the complainant that is beaten by you within 24 hours before I cut people in that church with a machete”, the police described in the report shared with Fox News Digital.
One of the victims told officers that he and Liberto had communicated back and forth in the past from the e -mail address where the threats came from.

The victims also told the police that they did not know what caused Liberto to send the e -mail, but said they both believe that he is suffering from an unknown mental illness.
Officials said that both men said that Liberto is also known to have a machete to which he calls ‘Chete’ and that he also claims to have a firearm, but noted that it was never seen. The victims added that Liberto also stays in a homeless camp.
