Maine School -Officer tore for the comparison of transatletes with civil rights fights

Portland (Maine) Public schools Superintendent Ryan Scallon is confronted with enormous criticism after comparing the constant struggle to make trans -inclusion in the sport of women and girls possible with earlier American civil rights struggle in which women and minorities are involved.

Scallon His comments During a school board meeting on Tuesday.

“In the history of our country there have been a lot of civil rights struggle, including, but not limited, to fight for women’s rights to vote, for racial equality and for same -sex marriage. In each of these battles, the opposition was partially driven by fear in attempts to ban other people who look, act or believe in something else,” said Scallon. “Today I see that happening again with transgender or non-borde students, and in particular our transgender athletes.”

Maine State Rep. Laurel Libby, who has recently risen as a key figure in the constant resistance of the State opposite Trans -Inclusion, Fox News Digital told that she finds the comments of Scallon ‘Insulting’ and ‘unconscious’.

“It’s offensive for women everywhere,” said Libby. “If I was a parent there, I would feel betrayed and as if I have no representation, and certainly that my girls had no representation … It is an example of leadership that actively participates in erasing women and girls.

“It is unconscious that an official would compare the wake -up policy to allow biological men to participate in girls’ sports with the fight against civil rights that previous generations fought.”

Libby became a prominent figure in this Maine debate after placing a Greely High School pole Vaulter on social media. De Pole Vaulter took as a biological man as recently and eventually won a state championship as a woman.

Libby was later censored for the position and has since brought a lawsuit in response to trying to regain her voice and speaking privileges.

Maine responds to Trump Admin Declaration State’s statement has violated the title IX by allowing transgender people in girls sports

Former Maine High School Polsstokhooog Coach and the official Allen Cornwall, who had to judge a competition that was a transatlete earlier this year, told Fox News Digital that he sees Scallon’s comments as ‘a farce’.

“It’s a farce,” said Cornwall. “Until you sit there and look at the faces of the other girls, and then you can come and tell me why you think it’s honest, I don’t really want to hear it. I look at the faces of these girls every week, I witnessed it and they have been crushed and they were injured and they can have chances to compete for years.”

The executive director of the American Parents Coalition, all Lightte Marre, has provided an explanation to Fox News Digital who condemned the entire liberal movement in Maine who works to make trans -inclusion possible.

“Parents agree that forcing gender ideology on children is unacceptable and they are tired of activists who pretend that biology is not really,” Marre said.

“From boys in the sports and changing rooms from girls to tampons in the bathrooms of boys – families have enough. Nevertheless, the last push of Maine Liberals in their ideology includes a transgender activist who is accused of (witness) of sexual cheeping behavior in saying a minor.

Users on social media shared their own criticism of Scallon’s comments.

Maine has become one of the largest battlefields in the country in the national debate about trans -inclusion in girls sports.
