Ryan Fecteau, the democratic speaker of the Maine House of Representatives, removed his X account on Thursday morning, only a few days later Censored republican rep. Laurel Libby.
Libby was censored by the Democratic majority on Tuesday evening for a recent post on social media and pointed out that one Transgender High School Athlete won a girl competition. The censorship resolution was assumed with a voice of 75-70 and has withdrawn Libby’s speaking and voting rights.
Fecteau said during a hearing that Libby’s rights would not be restored until she apologized, but she told him that evening that she would not apologize.
Libby pointed out that the Fateau account was deactivated on Thursday in an X -post.
“Apparently Maine’s President of the House did not like the voices of the people. … Spes speaker Ryan Fceateau has his X account less than 48 hours after the attempt from the Democrat Majority to cancel me,” Libby wrote with a screenshot of his removed account page.

Fecteau actively left his Facebook and Bluesky accounts behind, but did not tackle the situation with Libby or the deactivation of his account. Many of his messages on those platforms are flooded with comments from those who criticize his decision to censor Libby.
“You are a coward. A spinless, Feckless, coward that clearly hates young girls,” a user commented on the latest Facebook message from Fateau.
“While I screaming that Trump and Republicans are Nazis and want a dictatorship, you are silent a representative of expressing the valid concerns of its voters. Emphasizes the usual hypocrisy of Democrats,” another Facebook user noted.
Fecteau has served in his role as chairman of the House of the House since 2020. At the time of his election as a speaker in December 2020, Fecteau was the youngest active state speaker in the US at the age of 28 and the first openly homosexual person who served as a speaker of the Maine house.
The transgenderism in the sport shifted the 2024 elections and a national counterculture was aware
On Tuesday, Fceteau Libby’s censorship brought well based on the starting point that her social media post on the transgenderatleet identified a minor with a photo and included the name of the athlete.
Libby’s post that identified the Trans -Athlete, came last Sunday when they pointed out that a transgender track and field athlete had taken first place at a Maine Girls Pole Vault Competition after she had participated as a boy just a year earlier.

“It is a remarkable double standard because in many places in many places on social media there are public photos of this person and even some posted by his school, and therefore, yes, this post went viral, but this was a person who participated in a public event on a podium and accepted a championship medal that directly belonged to the girls who were found to be the girls.
During Tuesday’s vote, Libby also approached the house floor with a prepared speech of seven pages about the importance of protecting girls and women’s sports against transgender recording. During the night, however, her microphone was consistently eliminated when she tried to give that speech.
“I was not able at all, from my first sentence, to get a word before the other side closed me,” said Libby, adding that she had never seen anything like that happening during her term of office in the Maine -lawful power.
Libby’s unveiling of the transgenderatleet ignited the national conversation and coverage of the State for Trans -Inclusion State after Maine had announced that it would not comply with the recent “No Men in Women’s Sports” executor of President Donald Trump.
Trump then promised to reduce financing to the state because he refused to follow his order during a meeting last week of governors in the White House.
On Friday, the Mills office responded with a statement that endangered legal action against the Trump administration if it had remembered the federal financing of the state. Then Trump and Mills Verbaal sparkled in the White House during a dual meeting of governors.
Only a few hours after that interaction, the US Department of Education announced that it would be Investigating the state To allow transgender athletes to compete in girls sports and potential title IX violations.
