Maguire Heads winner for 10 men

Manchester United survived his target early and defender Patrick Dorgu was sent before the break to rally and defeat the Ipswich 3-2 racing at Old Trafford.

Harry Maguire was the hero in the end, as his header gave Ruben Amorim three very necessary points.

Dorgu and Andre Onana got a fountain in the back of Jaden Philogene’s gift, but United responded to drive through a Sam Morsy target and matthijs de ligt’s trambled finish.

But when Dorgu saw Red for a high chalenge in Omari Hutchinson, and the philogenic burst on a speculative second onana to level the break, it looked like another hard night for Amorim.

But Maguire headed to seal the victory and leave Ipswich in deep problems, five points behind the wolves and security.

The goal of the opening was a blow, as Dorgu played the ball beyond an off -site onana at the January gift by signing a friendly goal.

United is rarely threatened by Open Play, but as in Everton last weekend, she found an answer through Bruno Fernandes’ boot. First his bad free kick was hit by Morsy before a corner of the Portuguese eventually turned by De Ligt.

Dorgu’s challenge was bad and after a VAR revision he walked, and onana was out of position again when he was left flat from the Philogene cross.

Maguire’s header was the first time United had scored three goals in the Premier League since 2016 and for all Ipswich’s possession they rarely threatened a level.
