Newcastle reached the second Carabao Cup final in three years after a 2-0 win over Arsenal secured an imposing 4-0 win in the semifinals.
Jacob Murphy and Anthony Gordon scored Magpies ‘goals at night at St James’ Park, adding the strikes of Gordon and Alexander Isak to the first leg in a dominant show over two legs against Mikel Arteta men.

Arsenal continued to see most of the ball, but failed to create any clear chances. The pieces were again their biggest threat, but Newcastle managed to handle them comfortably as a whole.
