Los Angeles Dodgers: Bobby Miller in the recovery after head injury, says manager


Los Angeles Dodgers Manager Dave Roberts gave an update about pitcher Bobby Miller after he was hit by a comeacker from De Lijn during a spring training match.

“He has a little headache, but there is no break,” said Roberts, through the Los Angeles Times. “Today he just lies low, but he is confident that he can pick up his throwing program quickly. But he just has to keep going through the concussion protocol to ensure that we stay on the right track.”

Roberts indicated that Miller told him that he had a “hard head” and was in “good mood”.

“He is confident that he will soon be able to pick up his throwing program,” the manager added. “But he just has to keep going through the concussion protocol to ensure that we stay on the right track.”

Roberts did not give a clear timeline of Miller’s return.

Miller was the selection of the first round of the Dodgers in the MLB design of 2020 and made his debut three years later. He had a decent Rookie season and threw a 3.76 ERA in 22 starts, but his second -year campaign was a different story.

The 25-year-old was up and down between the Majors and minors, while he started an ERA of 8.52 in 13 Major League while also missing time with shoulder inflammation.
