Lizzo flaunts her figure in an orange outfit for Thanksgiving after dismissing Ozempic rumors

Face showed off her figure in a skin-tight orange dress to celebrate Thanksgiving.

“Yall weren’t the only ones eating yesterday 😮‍💨,” Lizzo, 36, captioned a series of selfies shared via Instagram on Friday, Nov. 29, which showed the “Truth Hurts” singer glowing in an off-the-shoulder orange maxi dress by Hanifa decorated with large flowers.

Earlier this week, the “It’s About Damn Time” musician shared a video via TikTok of her workout routine in preparation for Thanksgiving. “I’m getting ready cause I’m definitely gonna eat 3 plates tomorrow 🤪,” she captioned the video, which saw Lizzo sweating it out in an all-black workout outfit while doing lunges, squats and deadlifts.

Lizzo’s posts come after months of allegations that she uses Ozempic — semaglutide, which is mostly prescribed to adults struggling with obesity and is not approved for accidental weight loss — weight loss, which she denied. Last month, the singer responded to the rumors dressing up as Ozempic for Halloween.

Despite the rumours, Lizzo is proud of her weight loss journey. “When you finally get the Ozempic charges after 5 months of weight training and a caloric deficit,” she wrote via social media in September.

In the footage, Lizzo wore a silk robe and flashed a tight smile, captioning her post “OZEMPIC OR COKE?” which was attributed to a “fan” who, according to a screenshot included in her upload, asked if the singer had “(used) ozempic” or “(snorted) coke” on a previous image of Lizzo slipping on a Yitty bodysuit. (Yitty is the singer’s shapewear brand.)

“I was methodical, losing weight very slowly,” Lizzo said in a profile published by New York Times in April, where she shared that she was trying to walk or do pilates every day.

“I really don’t see it because if someone who’s on their way to losing weight naturally knows that losing weight is actually the slowest thing in the world and you don’t notice it until you notice it,” she continued. “Also, the scale doesn’t really move. But anyway, it doesn’t matter. I am very proud of my current lifestyle.”

Lizzo shared an insight into her diet with her followers on social media, revealing what she typically eats each day. The “Good as Hell” singer, 36, posted shots of herself snacking on a variety of foods via an Instagram Reel titled “What I Eat in a Day: As an Ex-Vegan” on Thursday, October 10. (…)

At the time, she added that she was transforming her longtime ideology of “body positivity” into “body neutrality.”

“I’m not going to lie and say I love my body every day,” Lizzo told the publication. “The bottom line is that the way you feel about your body changes every day. There are days when I adore my body and others when I don’t feel completely positive.”

She added: “My body is nobody’s business.”
