Line-ups confirmed as Hojlund dropped with Zirkzee coming in

Manchester United will look to build on Thursday night’s 3-1 win over Southampton when they take on Brighton this afternoon.

Ruben Amorim’s men were labored for much of the game against the Premier League’s bottom side, but Amad Diallo’s hat-trick earned them a flattering 3-1 victory.

The win moved them up to 13th in the table and another three points this afternoon would see them move up to 11th.

However, Brighton will present a tough challenge.

Fabian Hurzeler’s side may not be at their best at the moment, but they have found a consistency that has led to a five-match league unbeaten run.

Manchester United team news

Rasmus Hojlund paid the price for his disappointing recent form with a drop to the bench.

The Danish striker has scored just two league goals this season and was replaced by Joshua Zirkzy.

Diogo Dalot returns from suspension and will play in the left wing role with Diallo moving further forward to play alongside Bruno Fernandes.

The third change recalls Harry Maguire in place of Lisandro Martinez.

Manchester United: Onana, Mazraoui, De Ligt, Maguire, Giorro, Dalot, Ugarte, Maino, Fernandes, Diallo, Zirkze.
