Leicester City are reportedly keen to sign Southampton defender Kyle Walker-Peters.

The 27-year-old defender is in the final months of his contract with the English club and Leicester hope to secure his services for a nominal fee this month, according to Sky Sportssmall. Alternatively, they could sign him on a free transfer at the end of the season.

Walker-Peters has been a reliable player for Southampton and there is no doubt that he could be a useful signing for Leicester City as well. The Foxes look quite vulnerable defensively and need a quality addition to help them tighten up at the back.

Walker-Peters will also help them going forward. It remains to be seen if the Foxes can complete the deal. Southampton have had a disastrous campaign so far and are relegation favorites at the end of the season.
